Information on Commissions 

It is my hope to inspire a renewed interest in the art of miniature portraits by offering work done by commission. 

My art is “inspired by” original images, but never intended to be an exact copy or replica, nor is the art intended to be viewed or represented as originating from a time period or artist other than date and signature on the reverse of the piece. 

Ruth has rendered five generations of her family,
dating from the 1800s to mid 19th century using photographs as reference.
